It is an inexpensive hotel right on the beach, which is unusual. I have always found the staff to be very nice people and the service to be at least adequate. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's a great location and a great value. - D

For Boca Chica it is not THAT inexpensive - the apartments they offer "might" be a deal if you can use just one, but a couple of them would approach the cost of other spots, say the Costalunga which has adjoining rooms - they have a common doorway then two entrances in a vestibule.

IIRC, Criss they boot the girls out at 6 a.m. unless you pay $10.00

To me that sounds more like a service than a penalty. No pool.
