A few questions about Playa Grande:

I find it odd that the government actually owns/owned such a golf course?

Is it still owned by the Central Bank?

Did the Government also finance it? ...If not, Who did?

When was it built?

Thank You in advance

As I understand it

It was built by the government in order to enhance the possibilities of Rio San Juan becoming a tourist destination. It was totally financed by the Central Bank.

As to the when? About 9 or so years, I think. Maybe less.

Re: As I Understand It

Thank You Hillbilly

After starting this thread, I found an article in Florida Golf Magazine, which although a bit old, affirms your responce;

p.s. Does anyone know of similar projects fully/partially financed by the government?
