in a lot of dominican songs your hear guys sing about 'mi pana'
how would you translate that?

I think "mi pana" is like "my buddy".

I concur.

"Alta pana" is like saying good buddy. "Panisima" is like great buddy.

I think it could interest you ...

The word comes from the english word " partner ", which has been "dominicanized" into "pana"

so yes, it's a friend, a buddy .....

Yep, it's used in 'mis panas', 'mi pana' etc.. and means partner, buddy, dawg
