and it's very convenient if you want to be by the beach. The have a restaurant, a nice rear courtyard (with a bar and lounge chairs) that will leave you right in front of the beach. The rooms are basic and the pillows are as thin as wafers, but their security is tight-and it is chica friendly. You just have to pay 10 bucks if she stays past 6 am or something like that.
They offer free breakfast if you wake up early enough and it is included in the price. For 45-50 bucks US it is not bad. They are also meticulous about the housecleaning.
They just do not allow the loud frat-style partying to go on. Why it would suck compared to the other Boca Chica hotels in the area I don't know. All I know is that I have stayed there twice with no complaints.
$45-50 (not including the chica fee) are high-end prices (outside of AIs) for Boca Chica. For basic service and wafer thin pillows you could be paying $15 and still have a pool to swim in.
For $45:
a) at Candil, you'll get bigger, better rooms, a pool, cable, and much better security (no chica fees)
b) at Costlunga, you'll have access to internet, you'll get bigger, better rooms, a pool, cable, and a lobby full of whores (no chica fees)
c) at El Caucho, you'll have access to wireless internet, you'll get better rooms, a pool, cable, a restaurant, a rec area, a bar, gaming machines, easy access to whores, a very accomodating young English speaking staff (no chica fees)
d) And where I stay in Boca Chica, I get a studio apartment, queen bed, cable, a kitchen (plates, glasses, flatware, cooking utensils) full fridge, oven/stove, patio (w/ chairs), great service, and complete privacy (of course no chica fee) for $35.
Damn' you forced me to write what easily be found by doing a search on this board!!
