The Central Bank has assets valued up to DR$100Billion that it plans to sell. These assets were recovered from the failed banks.

1) Will the Central Bank use the proceeds to retire the Bank Certificates issued by Mejia (DR$70Billion) and Fernandez (DR$60Billion)?

2) Will they use this to retire a good portion of the foreign debt?

3) Will they use this money to lower your fees and taxes (since they already have a DR$205Billion budget allocated from other sources)?

4) Instead of borrowing more money, shouldn't they use this money instead?

5) Or should they use this money to buy themselves brand new Escalades and part ownership in the off shore man-made island off the Malecon?

Not if they can find another use for it!

Not NO, but HELL NO!!

Absolutely no way will they do such a dastardly thing. It would violate their basic (?)PRINCIPLES(?)!

4) Instead of borrowing more money, shouldn't they use this money instead?

ABSOLUTELY!!!

More than likely, that is exactly what will happen. Shouldn't there be a follow-up to all this in say, 3 months to see what actually happens to the money???
