Today I happened to learn about a screen saver that I thought might be of interest to those posters who take special interest in tracking earthquakes. The screen saver is available from mgshareware http://www.mgshareware.com/ It is a free download, but after a 21 day trial period you must register it and pay $15 if you want to keep it.

QuakeSaver checks RSS feeds from the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Hazard Program to show you the most recent quake sites on a map. QuakeSaver updates itself as often as every 15 minutes--faster than many news outlets. You can set the program to display only events above various levels on the Richter scale, and you can choose from several different maps to keep an eye on an area of particular interest.
