Hi all, its been a while since I've been in the capital. I need help planning an itinerary this friday night of bars and restaurants to visit for the 20-something single guy.

Anyone who has been recently or is in the capital please help. I'm staying in the colonial zone.

Do you want to hop from place to place, or just stay put?
Do you know any spanish?
Are you going by yourself?
Are you looking to hook up with any girls?

You can try some of the bigger hotels along the Malecon like the Jaragua. Some of them have live music and their discos are pretty hopping, too. Plus you will be close enough to your hotel-in case you get tired, the ride back will be quick.

Thanks, and do you know what a typical cab ride costs in pesos around town or for for the evening? I don't want to get ripped-off if I can help it.
