Phone Plan

Am wondering about which international phone plan may be best as far as reliability and price. I tried using 1010620 but phone system is horrible for international calls. Any suggestions about calls from Canada to the DR?
(And yes, I am sure she is a sanky and have been using Western Union)

I'm using the Noble phone cards for calls from US to DR http://www.nobelcom.com/ and am well satisfied. They have access numbers for the US and Canada to use when initiating the call.

I use Startec Canada

It's a new long distance provider. Service & connection are good and it's only $0.14 / minute. It's a little more than a phone card but I've never had trouble getting through and calls are not dropped mid conversation.

That's if you call a landline. Cell is 13.1 plus exchange for us Cad. makes it 16 min.

That's what I call most frequent, laneline. Sprint PCS is 59-79 minuet depending on which plan you have in the states.
