X-mas & New Year's 1999

Can anyone tell me if there will be any big concerts, party or major events happening in the DR during the Holidays. I'm planning to go there this year and I want to know what's going on so I could start planning early. Thanks.

Only recently we posted an update on the events planned by the Presidente Beer (Avenida del Puerto and Plaza de la Independencia) and by the Municipality of Santo Domingo (city monuments and the Malecon).

What about Puerto Plata? Anyone scheduled to appear there?
