Ray Lugo promoted at DaimlerChrysler Corporation
Received an email with the information that Dominican Ray Lugo was promoted to regional manager for Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Central America of DaimlerChrysler Corporation. The appointment comes at a time when American cars in the not so far future will become more attractive to the DR because of gradual tax reductions contemplated in the DR-CAFTA that could go into effect starting 2006.
Prior to his promotion, Lugo was the company's regional advertising and marketing manager based in Puerto Rico.
As Regional Manager, Lugo will be responsible to lead the Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep Divisions in the Puerto Rico Office. This new change will be effective immediately. Lugo starts his new position immediately enabling the continued expansion of the Chrysler Group?s brands in Puerto Rico, Caribbean and Central America.
Lugo holds a bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the City University of New York and an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami.
