I agree with badpiece33. I just stayed at the Europa. A great deal for the price ($35US including taxes, cash rate). I had a large clean room, good air conditioning, king size bed, wicker couch, microwave oven, refrigerator, cable TV, wall safe with electronic locking system, nice patio area. Very comfortable setup.

I think each room has a slightly different setup.

I have stayed at the Europa many times and also recommend it. Do yourself a favor and ask for a room towards the back of the hotel so you wont awaken to the sound of motoconchos in the morning.

I have stayed at the Europa many times and if you have any problems Diego will usually attempt to address them ASAP...

You can get the room for $32 a night if you pay cash.

Hope this helps.

Nice places to stay in Sosua...

Europa is a nice place. I placed friends in there and have visited it often. I am not sure if it is still there but there was once a school directly next door to it on the back side. The school children were running wild between classes, it was very noisey! I also heard that the school is now closed. If so, then it should be good. Hotel Chessa is a nice place although it is outside of town near the casino. Voramar Hotel is across the street from Hotel Chessa. it is managed by a good friend named Henke. It is a nice place which is very guest friendly. For nice basic lodging there is always Rockys which is right in town. Rockys got good food and some good times at night! Tradewinds, The Palms and Caribe Campo are apartments for rent which is off of the main road going out to Cabarete just before the Sosua Carwash on the right hand side.
