Do Dominicans put their faces in their Birthday Cakes?

I'm in Wisconsin. There are 18 students in our city for 2 yrs. I'm hosting a birthday party for a girl from Santo Domingo. I know the Mexicans put their faces in their cakes for their birthdays.

Does anyone know about the Dominicans? I ask as I want to keep the candles out of the way if they do.
:)

Thanks in advance!

I personally have never seen it but it is possible that some tricksters might do it. What I have seen though is that Dominican's usually throw their own parties. Every year people ask me when I'm doing my party... that's not one custom I'm going to get into anytime soon!

well yeah, we gringos do have it and eat... but we seldom intentionally plant our face in them. ;-)
