"Mad Hot Ballroom" is a wonderful documentary - I loved it! Director Marilyn Agrelo follows a bunch of kids and their teachers as they prepare for the big competition. One of the schools competing is from Washington Heights. I've watched the documentary so many times and love it more each time. Go out and buy it (you won't regret it!) ;)

I saw the movie and liked it too. I guess not much people were intrested in the movie because when I went to the theather it was rather empty.

I live in Arlington, VA and they only showed it in two theaters so they were PACKED! I love this movie...the kids make you laugh and cry!

It is being shown here as part of the Dominican Republic International Film Festival at Sun Village. I plan on seeing it then.

I'm a big dancer so I'm looking forward to it.

I agree, I saw the movie it was great!! The theatre was packed where I went in TO.
It's coming out on DVD, it's on my christmas wish list hee hee!! :)

Planner- You'll enjoy it because your like me love to dance!!! I was dancing in my seat and singing lol
