does the 727 deserve the title "the fuel thirsty 3 holer"

As the 727 does use a lot of fuel, not to mention the smoke, I still think they are the cleanest aircraft on the market, they are well on the top of the list with the 707 and the cv-880 being the current cleanest aircraft that money can buy.;)

I met a few thirsty 3-holers in Boca Chica in the past. Liked the beer and the rest.

What does this have to do with the DR? And per your last scintillating post, how many engines does it have and are they the right number, assuming they are all attached?
