Hi guys,
i'm just back from DR.
It was my frist time and I loved it.
I met a very nice girl and I decided I want to help her.
She met and italian MAN 6 years ago and after she was pregnant he came back to italy and he didn't ever called her. But she had his phone number so she tried to call him and he never answered to the phone.
She got the daughter and now this daughter is 6 years old.
He never paid any bill to help the daughter.
Now I'm trying to figure out how I can help this woman.
Is there any DR law that push him to pay?
Please, let me know how I can help her.
If the DR law doesn't help her, I'll try with an italian lawyer.

First you better prove it is his baby. There are no shortage of girls who have put out to shall we say, several (dozen) men in a given fertile period.

I'm no lawyer, but if I was to venture a legal opinion, I would say that the probability of winning the case are quite slim, considering that the alleged father has never recognized paternity. Notwithstanding, the issue would have to be resolved in court, in this case the Tribunal de Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes, and the law is severely restricted in what it allows in terms of paternity suits.
