One of the features we're working on in the Green Team blog is one in which we ask you the reader to inform us and the world of something positive & praiseworthy being done on the environment or related concerns in your province (or DN) of the Dominican Republic.
Doesn't matter how small-scale the project is (well, ok, maybe it should at least involve a few people rather than ants! :cheeky: ), but if you can make the case that it's a positive model for others in the DR to emulate or join in on, we want to hear about it.
Doesn't matter if it's where you reside full-time, visit part-year (as some of better known "snow-birds" do), where your Dominican family live or just your hometown that you visit every so often.
Write to us about it at greenteam@dr1.com, include as much information and even photos and contacts if you have them. The more info you can give us, the better, because even though we're a dozen, we're spread out and all doing this in our "spare time" (ha! what a concept!), so we can't invest huge blocks of time and energy collecting basic data and checking out the bona fides of an overly sketchy submission.
If you have an idea that you yourself can't document but think maybe some on the board might be able to help, post about it in this thread. If you wonder whether something you have in mind is an appropriate submission, post on this thread, or if bashful, PM me.
Please, guys, no joke or childish stuff on this thread, or I'll delete.
Thanks!
Keith
