I know it is not airline related but can someone direct me to some information regarding ship passage to various points in central america. Preferably from Santo Domingo but I'm flexible.

I am thinking none. A few stop in SDQ "harbor" (An estuary really) and some in the La Romana area but those are the typical Caribbean ships form Florida for the most part. A cruise specialist travel agent might know- I am not sure there are many cruise ship ports in Central America anyway. Maybe Costa Rica which is over touristed.

Many stop in Panama City either before or after traversing the canal. Also. Punta Gorda in Belize.
