I'll start a list and everyone jump in and tell us what these things are called and add whatever else you can think of.

Wedding ceremony or mass

Wedding gown and veil

Bride's maids

Flower girl

Ring bearer

Tuxedo

Engagement ring

Wedding album (fotos)

bride's maids = damas (usually the bride's best girl friends or sisters)
bridal bouquet = ramo de novia
wedding ring, is also "el aro"
wedding album = album de boda
tuxedo = traje de ping?ino (jeje)
flower girl = damita (usually a lil girl)
ring bearer = pajesito (usually a lil boy)

Chiri: in spanish paje is used to refer a male.

Can I try?

Some suggestions:

Best man - el padrino: NOT NECESSARILY...EL MEJOR AMIGO DEL NOVIO. EL PADRINO WOULD BE THE ONE THAT ACTUALLY PAYS FOR THE WEDDING...at least as is done in most Latin American countries, and also in the Italian tradition, right Anna?

Matron of honor - la madrina: La dama de honor

Bridesmaids - los pages: Las damas de compa??a

Bridal bouquet - la rama: El ramo de novia

Ooops, I guess andrea9K posted at the same time!

I have been to weddings in the DR where the bride uses a garter that the guy takes off with his teeth and I have been to weddings in the DR where this doesn't happen. I guess it's not so much a tradition but more of a personal choice.
