Here is a insight into Latin American metropolises and their impact on the environment, among other things.

Santo Domingo is listed in one of the charts, and even when Santo Domingo is not addressed, many of the urban problems plaguing other Latin metropolises do exist in Santo Domingo or are on the verge of becoming real in this metropolis.

Cities used as special study cases include: Lima, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Rio, Sao Paulo, and Bogota.

Again, another interesting report.

Nals, have you managed to get a copy of the new "tools" section for my website, as this is the second book you've cited from it! LOL First the GEO from my "State of..." reports page, now this from the Temas recommended reading list? What next, the ones on air pollution, biotechnology, carbon markets, climate change, fiscal policy impact on the environment, energy, toxic substances, corporate responsibility, law enforcement, mining, urban transport, waste? ;)
