From the 08 Feb. 2006 issue of Dominican Today:

Fuel saving plan: government vehicles to use ?biodiesel?

Santo Domingo.- The experiment began with 12 unitsm, but the plan is that all State vehicles use ?biodiesel?, a renewable organic-based fuel that can substitute diesel oil with minimal physical alterations to motors.

This was revealed by President Leonel Fernandez, during the presentation of the project developed by the Bio-technological and Industrial Innovation Institute (previously known as INDOTEC).
