Angel informs me the score is 4-0, DR leading. So far, so good. It was scoreless until the third, when the DR got on their bats. Tavares, Polanco, Tejada and Pujols all came in on hits and walks. (Tejada doubled)

Oh my BOMB!

The Ortiz homerun was gargantuan.

ESPN is reporting that the ball Ortiz hit was last seen just off the coast of Chile (the northern part), and starting to come down.

Still bottom of seventh

I'm not liking the momentum Cuba built up after the homerun. One out, runners on second and third.

Cuba loads bases on a walk, 2 out. Pitching change. Jorge Sosa out, Duaner Sanchez in. I like this pitcher. Pinch hitter Sanchez in for Cuba.

Bottom of 7, DR 7, holding Cuba to 1

YES!
Sanchez strikes out Sanchez, leaving Cuba with loaded bases, and keeping them at one run in what could've been something much uglier.

Bottom of 7, DR 7, Cuba 1

I'm glad you clarified it was seen on the Northern part of Chile, not the Southern part, b/c otherwise, I would've said you're full of cr*p. ;)

Go on, keep the info coming. I'm at work now and this is the only way to know.
Not exactly, you can click here and then click the baseball diamond that appears under the scoreboard for any active game. It will give you a slightly delayed play by play update.
