We're getting down to the wire now. Three days and 12 hours until landing.
I had written in a previous thread that I was planning to buy some fun things for school kids. Well, I did it, and they arrived at my office yesterday. It's not a lot, but I just wanted to do something for the kids. I was wondering if there is anyone who reads the message boards from Luperon or if anyone knows anything about the schools or any teachers in Luperon. I would like to bring the items (fun pencils, erasers, stickers, stampers, etc.) directly to a school. All of these items are geared toward younger (under 12) kids, although older kids might enjoy some of the things too. I figure the teachers might be able to use them as "prizes".
The weight of these items is 20 pounds; therefore I will need to carry a separate, smaller suitcase for them. Can someone please tell me how to write "These are gifts for school children", so I can put it on a piece of paper in the suitcase, as my Spanish is minimal.
