I am so new to this site so bare with me!! I am planning to travel to the D.R. once again in october...punta cana. I just got back 2 months ago and can't stop thinking about!!! I may be going by myself so I was wondering if anyone had some pointers for me on good hotels, etc. I stayed @ the Occidental Flamenco and loved it but I'm open for options. Ciao

Hotel choices
You have many many choices in Punta Cana, almost too many.
You stayed at the OCC Flamenco which is a decent resort on a lovely beach but there are many resorts with far superior a la carte choices and pools and bars etc. Right next door (south) you will find the Palladium resorts (4) and up the beach the Iberostars (3), Riu's(5), Bahia, Majestic, Ocean, Princess plus nmany others. Your choices are basically almost unlimited.
