Is there any where nice to stay in Monte Cristi? How can I get from Monte Cristi to Santiago?

Ask for Herv? (the frenchman) in Montecristi. He has a very nice hotel on the beach, not too expensive, and a great restaurant downtown.
If I remember, the restaurant is called "El Bistrot", but I forgot the name of the hotel...

To go from Montecristi to Santiago, very easy, just go to the Caribe Tours terminal, buy a ticket and et on the bus !!!

Bus to Montecristi

How often does the bus to Santiago run from Montecristi and how much does it cost. Is it worh staying the night in Montecristi?Thanks
How much would a taxi cost? How far is it?

Just do what squat is tellling you!! It's very far from Santiago. I'm from Mazanillo and remember it been very far in the bus!!

cayo arena

I had heard of herve's hotel but i found it was disgusting instead i opted for cayo arena on the same road but a bit closer.

top notch. big comfortable rooms and great food in the restaurant next door not 3 miles away.
