Which Dominican city do you consider to be the best. By best, I mean best in everything that is important for you either as a tourist or resident.

Exercise your opinion by voting and see where you stand in relation to other DR1ers!

You left out a couple of the largest cities of the country, San Cristobal, La Vega, Higuey. OK, maybe not everyone?s favorite cities, but that?s what the poll is for to find out, right?

Santiago - because I can find lots of tipico nightclubs (which I love) and lots of cool places to hang out.

Would have to say San Francisco de Macoris. La Vega, Moca y Salcedo are a good second home. Keep in mind we are small city folk here, not big city. If I have to say my best big city.. that would be Santiago.

Cheers!!

this poll should be only for those who know all these cities and can compare them, I don't know too many so my vote would not give u a true result.

I love Santiago, most of my Dominican friends are from Santiago, the people overthere are real cool and composed.

Lots of Santigueros or Santiaguenses here...

NALs's out to prove once again that Santiago and the rest of El Cibao rule.

So far, Santiago is the runaway favorite.

NALs, the master of internet searches and a trained economist could not ask the simplest of questions: Which is your favorite city in the D.R.?

I already know his answer: Well, these are the choices they have...

Well, in that case, the responses mean just that. You might as well ask Santiagueros which city they prefer, Gary (Indiana), or Santiago?

What are you saying?

There are cities from each region in the options.

What do you want, for every rural village and district to be included as well?

Santisico!

Nal's I kind of like El Seybo but needless to say it wasn't on your list hehehe. I never have to put up with any tourists or expats because there are none,,,, except me.

Oh so wonderful!

Santiago= Only thing missing is the ocean and it's breezes!

La Vega= Carnival is fantastic here, get there early and plan to stay late!

Moca= Mocanas are gorgeous here.

Bonao= Pretty place and friendly people.

Puerto Plata= My home base town, been there and done that.

San Fransico

Santo Domingo= Too big for my liking. For those that like big city action this is the place on the island to be.

Punta Cana= Are you kidding? If not for the AIs what else would there be?
