Car Rental Santiago Area

Who might have the best car rental in Santiago ?? Not necessaily the cheapest, but the most reliable and trustworthy. I'm not looking for someone to rip off a Gringo. Thanks for all responses.

Stick with the majors; National, Hertz, Avis. Although I've never rented a car in Santiago, my personal choice in the DR (and elsewhere) is National.

Where's Laurapasinifan? I know he had a company he swears by (or was that swears at? :)).

I've been very satisfied with Adventurecar. I've used them 11 times the last 1.5 years.

About a month ago I used Nelly at STI. Good price, good service ,good car and a full tank.Nuff said.

I use La Frontera rent car. I've been using them since Dec 2004 and they have been great to me. I go back every two or three months.
