Walk out of casa marina, hop on a moto and say Europa. Europa is a hotel with 3 bars 50 feet away. Enjoy a Presidente and the scenery. After a few drinks walk west on Pedro Clisante towards the beach. More bars, more fun!!!!!!!!!

moto,,,,,,,,20 pesos during the day,,,,,,,,40 pesos late night

look under richardhead, seeking to enhance his perceived online status by falsely claiming U.S. citizenship; we haven't talked like that since Saturday Night Fever.

brian, please contact the Serbo-Croatian embassy, ask Vlad to call Igor at the Czech compound, reverse the charges if necessary.

Stop at these places

If you are a "cool head" then you will like these non-pretentious places to hang out, meet a few chicas other cool tourists and ex-pats alike in a no pressure atmosphere.

Start your day at Rockys or the Britannia for breakfast or lunch depending on what time you wake up. If you wish to go to Rockys call ahead. They have business cards on the bar. Once they "know you", you can give them a "heads up" that you are coming and will take your order over the phone so it is ready when you get there. Britannia is pretty fast with their orders.

The beach is a great place to spend the day if you are staying in Sosua. Being in town during the day and listening to motoconchos and breathing fumes all day long is a drag. Lot's of places to visit there. Some of just a few places to visit is the Mofongo King for some drinks and perhaps that lunch you haven't eaten yet. Say hello to Big Bobby, the owner and Chulo his sidekick. Walk along the beach and you will see other places as well. Heading in the direction of Los Charimicos there is a great bar called the Scandinavian Bar. Man oh man, some great food here and the iciest cold beer on the beach. Sit under the umbrellas and hang out with Tom the owner and listen to some classic rock and roll and oldies.

Later on at night there is a ton of things to do. Starting out at the Batey side of town stop in at Four Roses for a couple of drinks. It isn't a large bar but the chicas are friendly and the people that own it are very decent guys Matais and Ollie. Head on down the street past the banks and just past Seacrets Disco on the left hand side is the New York Shark Bar. Big Lou owns the places and he has some a** kicking music playing, good food and ice cold drinks. Rockys also has a small night crowd if you are into stopping off of Pedro Clisante. Heading back down P. Clisante stop in the Britannia and say hello to Paul the owner and the girls that work there. The Benlux is owned by a great guy named Chris so please stop in to say hello. The Voodoo Lounge is a great place to meet English speaking people, hang out and get to know the great folks working there. Late night is the clubs, take your pick!
