Bruce. Where is the Dem Rep?? The Democratic Republic of ????

OIC!!:p You mean the Dom. Rep.

Well let me tell you that there is a big need for your services here, but I don't know how you can do much unless you come down and meet people and look at how things are done here. Most employment in your field is done through contacts.

I do know that there are at least two fresh water shrimp farms going and I know that CIMPA and ISA have worked on fish farming. Hopefully, you will find somebody that can point you in a better direction.

Good Luck!

aquaponics?

I am interested in trying out aquaponics on a very small (ie backyard or countertop) basis. I have never raised fish or done hydroponics. I think I more or less have a decent handle on the basic theory, but I have gotten stalled in actually trying to implement a working system.

If you have any suggestions or would like to try out any ideas here, maybe we could work on something long distance.

You can see my blog on worm farming on the green team blog here on DR1.
