I was recently in Boca. I partied downtown. Its very safe but there are a few things to watch out for. I stayed at the Calypso hotel. Walking down to town. You will met some men on the road. There job is to get you into their bar. Dont do it. If you do they will sit with you and then some of their friends will join them. Of course they will be drinking on your bill. When the bill come it will be a shocker. Also on the streets late at night some of the women will try to pick your pockets. If you are there to met woman. Ask your hotel if it is OK to bring them back to your room. The Calypso will want to see a ID from the woman. If the woman do not have a ID then pass on them. They do have cheap hotels you can rent by the hour but pass on them because they are not safe.
