Hello Dr1 I'm searching for a website to get realtime information about the earthquakes in the Dom.Rep. Today,28.12.99. / 23.50 the earth moved again. I'm interested in how force this movement was and how many movements we had in the last time. Maybe the 'Defensa Civil' is not prepared for bigger ones?

I felt some easyer ones round the 23. and 25.12.99, too.

I live in Santiago and felt the one lastnight the 27th it shook the bed so hard woke my wife and I up also lights were swinging. I hope to find out same info you are looking for.

Hi, I just read in todays Miami Herald about it and according to this newspaper it was a 4.5 Richter scale.Hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year.

There are listed the recent movements of the world. I found the one of yesterday with the magnitude of 4.7 and its center near Santiago / in a depth of 33km
