I have seen some pictures which are not available anywhere on the net. Exclusive photos.

In another thread I sort of bashed the "new" jet bridges. The pictures I saw show something else. Really amazing!!! The jet bridges are air conditioned and the entire aircraft receives air conditioning from the jet bridge air conditioning system. A colleage told me that the same kind of jet bridges will be installed in the Vancouver airport.

REALLY GOOD JOB AERODOM!!!

I have about three or four pics taken from the 3rd level and from the satellite on terminal a. I just dont know how to post them, if someone can tell me how ill post them. I have to commend aerodom for the job they have done at transforming Las Americas into a truly international airport. I was really impress with the dramatic change, from the minute i arrived til i left.

Go to imageshack.us

Open an account (it's free) and you will be able to upload your images from your pictures folder to that hosting website.

Once you finish upload an image (can only do one at a time) you will see various potential links you could use to post your image on DR1.com or any other forum.

Simply highlight the link titled "forum" and right click and choose copy.

Afterwards, come to DR1.com and press reply to whatever thread you want to reply. Press the insert image button in the reply window (hold the cursor over each button, a subtitle will appear and when "insert image" appears, then click on that one).

A script prompt window will appear and in the space simply right click and choose paste. That should paste the image link from the image you uploaded to imageshack. Once you do that, press OK and voila, the image has been placed on your response.

However, in the reply window it will simply show the link address, not the image.

Once you click submit reply, the image will appear on your reply to the thread.

It sounds lengthy and complicated, but it's not. Once you do it once it will be quick and easy.

If you have DSL or Cable modem you can open two internet windows and simultaneously be on DR1.com and on imageshack, thus you won't have to keep entering and leaving DR1 or imageshack when placing your images.

These are the pics I took, thanks for the info on how to host them.

I don't believe the AA plane was docked to Terminal B, but was in front of it as they were doing repairs before our flight to NY which was delay by about 6 hours. The Delta plane did connect to one of the Jetbridges.

If you do not see the images, just refresh your browser. I had to. Also I could not see all the pics with my firewall on. But The pics are there.

I dont think AA was using terminal B, i dont think they do. The plane was parked right in front of terminal B though. But i could not see if the jet bridge was connected to the plane.

AA is not using the new terminal, delta does. I think the B gates should be used by the airlines using the north terminal for check-in (delta, US AIR, aeropostal, spirit, and some charters) and the old gates by AA, CO, Air France, Iberia. US Air and Spirit are still using the A gates.

I think it has around 14 gates which is pretty good since it had 6 before...its suppose to become one of the busisiest airports in latin america now with a 65% more capicity.
