Any restaurants serving Tempura in town? Tempura is deep fried vegetable or seafood, which is commonly eaten in Japan. I have a craving! :bunny:

Also any place where I could find miso soup mix?

gracias

The Chinese supermarkets on Rómulo Betancourt and Chinatown might sell miso.

Samurai is sure to serve tempura. The less pricey Dragon House which has branches on Av. Duarte and Gustavo Mejia Ricart definitely has it on the menu.

You can use regular flour for tempura. I was taught it is the ice cold water in the recipe that makes the difference.
Can you get rice flour in the DR?

Had tempura for the first time when in US in July. At a great Japanese restaurant. Enjoyed it very much.

I have seen the tempura flour mix in the supermercados but I would prefer eating out!
