There's been no charge when we go and we're not even guests at the hotel. Don't know their official policy but I'd be surprised if they charge guests of the hotel. Lovely beach - enjoy you're stay.

I've never stayed at Casa Marina beach, but I have rented an umbrella near there from a fellow named Rafael at Sosua beach for about 80Pesos/day if I remember correctly. Seats/chairs were priced separately, I think...It's been awhile.

Go to Sosua beach. Much better. Scandinavian Bar has beach chairs for rent for 50 pesos, and the umbrella is included.

Playa

I personally prefer the beach at Casa Marina over Sosua, even though the beach at Sosua is much, much more lively, but the vendors/hawkers are reallllly tiresome. Good to go very early or between 5-7 p.m. Great Sunsets at both.
Casa Marina beach also has a few different names but doesn't matter. Visit both. Others in the area also.

(why did I get slammed off from previous post? nothing offensive)

I know its not technically a private beach, but is Casa Marina beach "non-guest friendly"? Also, does anyone go to Playa Chiquita Beach? Are there any food/drink/chair vendors there?

I do not know about Playa Chiquita, there is another nice secluded beach in Sosua nearby!
