Hi.
I am spending a few nights in Sosua and am trying to decide which place would be better?
Tropix Hotel or Sosua by the sea.
Open to any & all advice.

To answer your question, assuming the prices are similar, Sosua By The Sea would be a much better choice. It's next to the ocean, has more luxurious rooms with AC and TV's.
The location is better too.
It depends so much on the prices.
Have you been quoted a nightly price yet?

Victoria House

Try the Victoria House. I was there for a week (left yesterday) and had a blast! I think it is the best food of any "all inclusive" places I have been to in the DR and I have been to many. I hate all inclusive and only stay in those when there is no alternative but was very pleased with this place. By the way, where the hell is Napolean vodka from anyway? That is some nasty stuff.
