I saw onces, that in Santiago you can rent an BMW X5 for 200.00 dollars a day, can anyone give me the name and number of the rental car place?

You should stick to luxury cars in north america and europe. Insurance there is garbage and you will be bringing yourself big liability. No need to show off there, your foreign passport and cash will do. Good luck but I know you can rent it in santo domingo seen it there.
let me ask this....if they steal the BMW....its not on the renter, is it?
they cant make you pay for a stolen car....MAYBE they can hit you up for the out of pocket they put down for the collision...like 2 or 3 grand.......but you can buy their insurance for like $20 a day...worth it....I would'nt rent from any fly by night company with a car like that.......
I like the big cars, or SUVs..thats what I usually rent...because if something hits me, or the other way around...I want a lot of mass under me.......and I like to be higher than most other vehicles...
I also like to rent the cars that arent super clean on the outside...a few dings here and there....makes you blend in, plus they dont go as berserk when you come back with a little less paint..
I hit a horse once with a Mitubishi Limited, and that car had enough bangs on the corners, that they didnt notice in the dark when i returned it...
once I rented a newly painted Nissian Exterra...sure enough I got gouges about 12" down the pass side , that spanned onto both doors....cost me $100US......extra
I know if that was an X5....it would cost a lot more.....
I saw a guy get into a S500 at the casino...when it pulled up they opened the trunk and pulled out 3 pistols, and an FAL.... the driver and the front pass each took a pistol and the guy in the back took a pistol and the rifle......you drive that kind of car at night....you could be a target.......

Well guys here is the reason why I will like to rent the X5, I currently owen one of those in the USA and I love it but anyway, I am a US citizen born in DR, I usually go to SD 7 or 8 times a year with my wife we usually rent a Mitsubishi Montero but, rigth now we are separated (9 months) and I hear she is going down to DR in January and will be staying with her relatives in Santiago for 2 weeks, I was thinking it was a good chance for me to see her there and hopefully.... get my wife back, so I will like to look good, drive a nice ride and buy a ton of roses.
Hopefully she won't be mad at me anymore and just enjoy a nice time together.
