Does anyone know if the Museo de la Atarazana in Santo Domingo still sells spanish coins salvaged from wrecks and if so how much they go for? (from page 70 Lonely planet guide book) Any info would be greatly appreciated. And how about hours of business?

Is that the place that also sells cigars in El Conde, opposite the Catedral Primada?
Either way, yes, there is a place at the square that sells cigars/amber/necklaces. Some of the jewelry seemed to have real spanish coins... at least I hope they were, based on the price. It also has beautiful amber necklaces.
