Cheapest tickets from Miami?

Any sites you guys can reccomend. Ive been looking around at around Thanksgiving or sometime in December, but I cant find anything less than $500!.

Any airport is fine but preferable STI or POP. Anyother airport closer to Samana would be great, but i dont think theyre flying from Miami.

Have you tried looking at Cheap Airfare, Hotel Reservations, Car Rentals - Kayak.com? They will show the cheapest option from your hometown and also from the surronding airports. I saved 400$ on my last trip leaving from an airport 1h30 from home.

Spirit Air from Ft. Lauderdale has the cheapest flights to the DR. You can register to recieve their promotional specials which I've seen flights to the DR as low as $69 (less taxes). I've got a friend who is a pilot with them and he has been lobbying them to fly Samana's el Catey but no word yet of if or when.

Only problem withy Spirit is they only fly into SDQ and PUC...

only choice you have from miami to POP direct is American Airlines. flight 978 & 979 - that's it!
