Any way to put a moratorium on BURNING at least one day out of seven? Between diesel fumes (from generators) and garbage piles burned along the roads (garbage and nature trimmings) perhaps some type of mask should be distributed to lessen the daily, deadly intake of noxious pollutants that are injurious to everyone's health. Is there a Dominican EPA?

Yes, there is an Environment Ministry and Environment Police, but this issue appears to be low on their list of priorities.
