A few months ago, I had created a thread complaining about my experience with Mr. Guzmans office because they had been unable to get my residency for me because of what I considered to be a minor problem....immigration had detected a stamp on my passport which was a date in the future. I had entered the country in Sept 2005 and the stamp said that date in 2006, which was a date in the future at the time. I considered this to be something that could easily be cleared up but was taking too long. Anyway, the problem has been cleared up and I picked up my cedula last week.
Also, Dr. Ramia from Mr. Guzmans office did me a huge favor a couple of months ago when I called his cell and told him I was at La Casa de conductor and needed him to fax me a document. He delivered it in person 10 minutes later and I appreciated that very much.
I felt it only fair to follow up with this thread to thank them.
