Jetblue stoped flying to SDQ in 2005. Your only choice now if you want to travel Jetblue is STI. You can Try American or Delta from NYC

Jet Blue returns to Las Americas International

JetBlue Airways today announces the expansion of service to the Caribbean
with the launch of new nonstop service this spring between Santo
Domingo, Dominican Republic and New York's John F. Kennedy
International Airport. Twice-daily flights begin May 24, 2007.

To celebrate its new service to Las Americas International Airport,
JetBlue is offering introductory one-way fares between New York and
Santo Domingo starting at $109(a) USD each way. Santo Domingo will be
JetBlue's 53rd destination, and its ninth city in the Caribbean region.
The airline previously served Santo Domingo from 2004 to 2005.

"Que mucho te extranamos, Santo Domingo! We're thrilled to be returning
to your beautiful city this spring," said JetBlue Founder and CEO David
Neeleman. "The Dominican community has been one of our biggest
supporters since we started service to the island in 2004. We brought
low fares and great service, and they gave us their loyalty. This is
our way of saying 'thanks'."

Well let see how long this will operate this route.
But the main problem is not the low fares, the big problem is the local taxes into DR.

This is very good. In addition Jetblue added a third flight for the summer season I am wondering what is going to be AA's respond to this. Wasn't JetBlue supposed to start service to POP?

I think you should buy sometime soon the closer you wait to the departure date the higher the price will be. Especially for the summer time

Love It

AA announced JFK to Las Vegas and SFO immediately after the fiasco of the snow storm with JetBlue, attacking them, saying they will be the biggest carrier out of JB's stronghold, JFK, and this is JB's partial response....to the benefit of those flying NY to SDQ. Let the fare wars begin!
POP flights won't be known for at least a week to 10 days after a meeting.... again. The interest is there, as are the incentives. We'll see.

JetBlue

Negotiations are with JetBlue to POP, not AA. Sorry for the confusion. Nothing firm yet.

Jet Blue to POP

Dont forget to go jetblue's website & drill down to send a POP route request. With enough emails we can assure them of full planes to POP.
