Hello Everyone:
I was wondering if anyone who has been to this resort lately could tell me how they found it and if you could recomend any nightlife in and around the resort. I will be there April 30 for a week.

a very good hotel,food good,very clean ,only problem i felt was the bars shut at 11pm,after this time you go to the night club in house,and the outside entertainment area,nearby,you are better staying in your resort,not much outside going on,only other hotel night clubs the same as bahia principe,enjoy ;i did

Bahia Principe, Rio San Juan? Or Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro?

If it's the first -- and you feel the urge to get out for a while -- a very short taxi ride (or a beach walk West) will take you to Playa Magante and the Hotel/Bar/Restaurant Los Gringos. A nice quiet place to visit for excellent food and reasonably priced booze. But it won't be wild and wooly night life.
