Hello - again!

Another post from me, and this time strictly "travel".

We will take a flight from SDQ (Santo Domingo) to HAV (Havana) to visit a more salsa-inluenced city as well. And to see a bit of the country as well of course.. BUT..

I tried to find flights, and finally found them through

Aerocaribbean

and

Flights to Cuba - Cheap Flights to Cuba

Is those the best places to get a ticket between DR and Cuba?
Is it better to buy tickets NOW, or will I get a better deal from a local dealer (travel agency) in the DR?

Any other toughts or help I can get from you guys?

Thank you!

Sincerely,
P & C

I would book your ticket through a travel agent in SD. All of the agents in the Capital book to Cuba.

You should pay about $400 US RT.

Also a lot of the travel agents offer good deals with Hotel included to Cuba.

US RT?
Sorry... Don't know what RT means(?)

I found a return ticket for ?166 (EUR) which is about $122 (USD).
But either way - you think it's better to buy the ticket at location?

Thank you for your prompt reply!

Sincerely,
P & C

Ooops!!
Sorry.. That was something I should've picked up ages ago..!! :-S

Anyhow.. The price that I got ($222 US RT) - is quite okey then I suppose(?)
That's the price I get when I do a search on the pages I stated in the main question of this topic.

I don't even know why I wrote that ?166 was the price to Havana? Sorry - again..

?166 is the flight to Santiago de Cuba.
?261 is the flight to Havan...

And the equivalent in USD is $349.

So... $349 for a RT-flight to Cuba (Havana).

Seems fair according to your $400-prediction.. :)

Thanks again, and sorry for not knowing what I know.. so to speak! :/
