Just wanted to ask you all if someone could say anything about the Merengue Festival in the end of july?
1. When will it start (exact date)?
2. Is it two weeks straight?
3. Does this festival attract loads of tourists and natives, or will the hotels be available in the same sense as the beginning of July?
4. Will the festival be at the center of Santo Domingo, or is it widely spread in the city?
5. What can I expect?
Have you been there at this particular time? Please... Give me an idea on what to expect. Is it even worth planning my itinerary after this event?
