Alex Rodriguez is off to a great start and having one of the best Aprils in baseball history. I think he will hit 60 homers this year and may even challenge for the triple crown.

let's see 10 HR in 14 games so he has to hit 50 HRs in 148 games. individual accomplishments are great, but Yankee Country wants rings. if he hits 60 and doesn't win a pennant, trade him...:laugh:

A-Rod will win the triple crown, hit over 50 home runs drive in about 140 runs and win the MVP. The Yankees squeek into the playoffs and A-Rod goes 0 for20 in the first round of the playoffs, and the Yankees get sent home. A-Rod says he can hang his head high. He is proud of what he has accomplished. The Yankee fans hate him again. I don't care anyway. Lets go Mets!!!

It's a looong season. Assuming he doesn't get injured, I think he has a good chance to be the first player in the post-steroid area to hit over 60 hrs. But I doubt he will win the triple crown.

Go Yanks!

I guess thats different than the usual Boston's back to front, back to front, back to front routine ha ha ha ha

put all that boston banter in a time capsul and dig it up in 83 years.......

Boston baseball is like my golf....I can double bogey 15 holes tripple bogey 2 and hit a birdie on the other hole...and all I talk about is the one good hole...and tell everyone I did good... ha ha ha

You still have to give credit to the SUCKS, first time they sweep the Yankees in about 17 years. Schit, I thought it was going to take them about 90 years to do it.

I think Rodriguez will soon "cool" down and FunnyCharacter Ramirez will "wake-up".

Btw: make sure, if you are going to reply to my post, to do it right away before the "YankeesLover"Character deletes it.

Too early, he's capable of goin' bust quickly

Prognosticating A-Rod's productivity is like trying to predict the next earthquake in California - there is every possibility it can occur. A-Rod is a good player, but he's not a reliable player like Bonds.

with 5 players on the yankees batting better than the second best boston player, the yankee wins will roll in faster over time.....

Bonds is not more reliable

If you look at the numbers. Rodriguez has been the most reliable.

From 2000
Arod: RBI=132 135 142 118 106 130 121
HR=41 52 57 47 36 48 35
Batt AVG= 316 318 300 298 286 321 290

Bonds: RBI=106 137 110 90 101 10 77
HR= 49 73 46 45 45 5 26
Batt AVG=306 328 370 341 362 286 270

Alex numbers look better Maybe cause Hes younger and injuries/steroids? free?.
Anyway He just hit HR 13. What a player!

Let me correct you, he also hit # 14. Que "animal" de jugador.

Today: 2 homers, 2 singles and 3 RBI's. Not bad at all.

A-Rod Haters and "celosones", especially you Cleefy, come out, come out, wherever you are!!!. :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:

The Yankees still lost. A couple of homers that meant nothing for anyone but A-Rod. Got to admit his stats sure look impressive.
