Any thoughts ? I want to apply for a residence visa now while i'm still in the us for a winter 07 move to SDQ. I have the full list of required documents, one of which is an "original birth certificate" - herein lies my problem.

I was born in Germany, my birth name is different from my current "adopted name", and my birth certificate is in german. I hold US citizenship through naturalization and a US and German passports but both documents are in my adopted name. How can I resolve this paperwork issue?

thanks

To the best of my knowledge,-You will need to produce your original birth certificate and the legal papers showing your name change......
