Snorkel Gear?

Can anyone tell me please, how much I should expect to pay for snorkel gear (fins, mask, snorkel) in the Sosua area? I'm looking into buying my own gear and I'm wondering if it'll be worth it to wait and buy in the DR or get it here (Canada) and bring it with me.

Buy it at home and bring it with you. It will be cheaper and much better quality. If you don't want to bring it back home with you, you may be able to sell it for what you paid for it.

I agree with Bob, bring it with you! YOu will find inferior quality at higher prices here.

OR, you can rent equipment in Sosua Bay if you are only going to snorkel once or twice.

I'll take your advice and buy here before we move. I considered renting, but it's probably going to be cheaper in the long run to simply own my own stuff.
