La Pela is nothing but generic Levitra, although some swear it is more "effective". It would not be available legally in the US.

A friend of mine in Miami was pulled over for speeding once. On the seat next to him was a bag from a pharmacy with his girlfriend's prescription that he picked up for her as she was sick. The cop asked to see the bag and arrested my friend as the prescription was not his.

He ended up having to plead guilty for a fine and one year probation, because if he lost at trial he would have got five years in prison. Stiff, is not the word, Gestapo would be better.

Another reason to live in the Dominican :lick:

Your friend's case sounds like an example of prosecutor incompetence. A good prosecutor can dump the cases brought in by incompetent cops.

That is not prosecutor or cop incompetence. That is defense attorney incompetence. He could have brought in his girlfriend for his defense.

He did. But he was charged with possession. It was not his prescription.

My mother always said, " You can't fight City Hall". Another good reason to live here in the Dominican Republic.

Totally bogus!

What was your friend's intent in possesing the prescription? If the prosecutor couldn't prove criminal intent, there was no case against your friend. He obtained the medication for his girlfriend, with her knowledge and consent, so he had a legitimate legal reason for possesing it.

La Pela is not a controlled substance, so you would not be arrested for possession of it. It's not Vicodin.

This is the reason Rush Limbaugh was detained for a period of time and not arrested. There was probably some doubt as to what he was in possession of. Then again he could have been stopped by a liberal.

Lapela is Tadalafil which is what CIALIS is...same stuff, if one needs a prescription then the other would also, no matter what name is on the box!!!!!!!

you cant get CIALIS without a prescription.....because it is a controlled substance.....

I would think that all generic substitutes for name brand drugs would have the same restrictions as the name brand drugs.

Lapela is not sold in the US of A so therefore illegal.

I am sure the script in the car that was stopped was not Lapela or Cialis because i am sure docs will not give it to women. Like i would not get birth control in my name.

It's getting hard to follow this thread.

Let's see what's in the next post that pops up.

I love this country. You can walk to the pharmacy, buy la Pela over the counter, stop by the colmado and walk down the street with a cold beer in your hand.

Hey bob, CIALIS is not a controlled substance, a controlled substance is a drug or chemical substance whose possession and use are regulated under the Controlled Substances Act.
Controlled substance - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Comparing the Drug Schedules I-V, I don't see CIALIS or any other male enhancing drug, therefore, being charged with Criminal Possession of a Crontrolled Substance won't fly in a court of law.
