Hello,
I arrive at the Santiago airport next week, and wish to go to Samana by bus. I flew into Santiago, rather than Santo Domingo, because it looked closer to the Samana peninsula, and I thought it would be a shorter bus journey. However, now that I'm researching the bus routes, I'm not finding any information on a direct bus. Do I have to go via one of the North coast cities? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It is very easy. There are many buses each day that go to Saman?, Las Terrenas and Sanchez/.
Depending on what time your flight gets in, of course.
there are three inthe morning and threeor four inthe afternoon.
Send me a PM if you need more information.

You can take the afternoon bus! Just take a taxi from the airport (about RD$450 - about $15) to "la parada de guaguas para Samana' " . the ride is only about 20 minutes.

The bus stop is located at the corner of Pedro Francisco Bono' and Mella. Buses leave at 2:15 and 3:15.

If you need more help, just whistle.
