I hoped someone else might have followed up on this, expanding upon the story for those of us peasants who only speak one language!
"Dominican airports without RADAR" doesn't sound too good!
What's the story?
The report was about sub-standard radar systems in certain DR airports.
One of the things mentioned was using only one channel and that if that channel went down, they would be screwed.
I imagine those of you who are pilots, out there, know what that means.
Anyhow, there was a lot of technical mumbo jumbo that amounts to a less than adequate radar system in our international airports.
