Evidently, we are awaiting a change on the JetBlue website.What???????????
Could it be announcing flights into POP airport?
New York, NY (JFK) to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (POP) starts on January 10th, 2008.

The only other NONSTOP from a NYC airport on those dates in January is Continental for>>>>>>>>>>$385 incl TAX!

So JetBlue is more expensive.....
There has to be a reason.
Hard to break into an established market with a similar product at a higher price.

AA - Conn. in MIA - $359.00
Personally for $13US each way I'd avoid the MIA connection; besides I happen to like jetBlue - AA, not so much (JMHO).

It sure is! The more choices that we have, the better for us.
Now we need someone other than Continental to start flying direct from EWR. A little competition can't hurt!

Well I think it's great, and I bet lots of folks are gonna love it, and that it even increases the independent traveler numbers in the area.
Maybe not by much, but even a small increase in those travelers who aren't headed to the animal corrals in Playa Dorada, etc, is good.
